#CHICAGOtalent :: Blu Cap of L.O.C.A.L.$ By @SleepTillNoon

Rap artist/graphic designer ‘Blu Cap’ of the Chicago collective “L.O.C.A.L.$” comes across as a bit of a black sheep compared to the showcase of talent to emerge from the windy city as of late, but the way he dictates his flow over homegrown instrumentals from other Chi natives shows he has no problem marching to the beat of his own unconventional drum. Blu’s most recent visuals for his song “Me” posted above.

Kobe Tells His Kwame Brown Story

Kobe Bryant made a visit to the University of California-Santa Barbara where he answered questions for students in a psychology classroom. At one point, Bryant was asked about his only MVP award in 2008 and he used it as an opportunity to share a story about former teammate Kwame Brown. Brown, the No. 1 overall pick in 2001 by the Wizards’, was traded to the Lakers for Caron Butler in 2005 and played 2 ½ seasons in Los Angeles, where he was often booed at home games. His career fell well short of expectations. Bryant offered a glimpse into how a lack of confidence contributed to his early struggles in his career in a very funny story of Brown’s final game as a Laker. Here’s the video of the conversation.
