For the past month I’ve been going around trying to get in touch with all artist that are on the grind, trying to make it from the street lights to the lime light is my motto for it. I was fortunate enough to catch up with the homey Yung Stat to do a Hot Seat Interview, heres how it went down:

A: I really don’t focused on being the best or nun of that I just do what I do you digg. I feel like I’m far from being the best at this point in time but I’m on the way tho so check ya rear view mirrors

Hue Hefna

Q: In the next 2-3 years where would you like to see yaself as a artist?

A: The next 2 or 3 years hopefully I have a deal by then but if not imma keep focused I should be the top underground artist helping to bring staten island some shine that its been missing since the Wu

Q: Do you have any other interest besides music?

A: interest besides music … I’m big on sports I be on that espn like its cnn ..besides that I just be coolin gettin faded and just lovin life

Q: When it’s all said and done what do you want to be remembered for?

A: I wanna be remembered as the greatest and most influental hip hop artist to come out of staten island. No disrespect to nobody its all love but at the same time I put in work for years tryin to earn my spot with gorillas in this concrete jungle. You either gon respect it or try ya luck
